Who is Chalet World Ski:

‘Chalet World Ski' is a trading name of Morgan Leisure Ltd (registration no. 5206755) a family run company who specialise in winter sports holidays. Our aim is to provide our customers with the highest level of service available. We can advise you on your chosen resorts and chalets and have extensive knowledge of the Alps. John Morgan was a founder of chalet holidays in the 1960's with Murison Small and Quin Morgan spent over 10 years working in the Alps, before competing for Great Britain on the European and World Cup ski circuits in Freestyle. We believe we have a highly qualified team to assist you all the way with your ski booking and will be delighted to help, so give us a try!

About our web site:

We currently have 17 resorts and over 800 chalets on our site, these are with over 20 different operators from the very small to the not so small! Our site has a very simple search engine, built around the resort you wish to go to, size of the chalet you wish to stay in and the standard of chalet you require. You can also email details direct from our site to your friends on the chalets you have chosen, or save your favourite chalets to compare at the end of your search. Chalet Ratings:

Our chalet ratings are based on a star system of 1 - 6 (1 being simple/6 being luxury) and are intended to as a guide only. We base our ratings on the quality of the chalet operator, facilities in the chalet as well as the location of the chalet. If you are unsure about anything, please ask us, we are here to help.

Holiday Prices:

The basic price shown in the price grid on each chalet page is per person per week and is based on two people sharing a standard room. The chalet holidays offered on our web site include return flights from London, transfers to the resort and the catered chalet accommodation. The catering for your holiday (typically 7 nights) includes a daily breakfast, afternoon tea and 6 nights evening meals - the chalet staff have a mid-week night off and do not provide a meal on this evening.

Please bear in mind that additional room supplements or discounts may apply. Regional flights, Eurostar or snowtrain services are available at various supplements. These vary from operator to operator; you will be informed of the full cost of the holiday when you request a quote.

If you have organised, or are planning to organise, your own travel arrangements, we can arrange and book accommodation only for you – depending on your requirements for ferry price or Shuttle please speak to our sales team for a quote.

The prices shown do not include ski hire, ski lift passes, lunchtime food or ski lessons (unless otherwise stated).

Discounts and special offers:

Group discounts are available on most dates and start with groups as small as 6 persons, we have access to some of the best group discounts around, so let us find the best deal for your group.

Special Offers and Late Deals when available cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Making an enquiry:

Once you have chosen your favourite resorts or chalets, you need to enquire with us to see if they are available and to provide you with a quote. We will require some basic information to do this, including departure date, the number of persons in your party, including adults/children and your preferred travel method. We can then cost the holiday for you and hold an option if required. 

How to book:

To book your holiday you need to pay us a deposit (this varies dependant on operator, typically £110pp) if outside 12 weeks before departure or arrange for full payment if within 12 weeks of departure. We can normally hold an option for you for 48 hours whilst you arrange this. Please note that deposits are NON refundable and are subject to the operators booking conditions.  

Paying for your holiday:

The simplest method of payment is by using a debit card, although you can pay by cheque if you wish. We also accept on line bank transfers (please quote the correct reference number for your booking) and credit cards. Please note that there are no additional charges added to debit card payments, cheques or for on line transfers – there is however a credit card surcharge on final balance payments only of 2%. We also accept AMEX but require a signed consent form from the card holder if using this.

What happens once I have booked:

We will send you a letter confirming the details of your holiday and of the deposit paid. This will be sent to the party leader and must be checked carefully. Your holiday confirmation and invoice will then follow, typically within 7 to 10 days. This will include all details of your holiday, a group organiser's chart and other related booking information. Please make sure that this is correct and in accordance with your instructions.

Amendments to bookings:

Once you have booked your holiday, amendments may well be required and we understand this. We will do all we can to carry out your requirements free of charge. However, some charges are unavoidable, particularly nearer to the departure date and if we are charged for this we have to pass this on to you. In all cases we will require a written confirmation for any amendments, either by email, fax or post and we will advise you of the cost if applicable before carrying this out. If you are unsure, please just ask us.

Tickets and final documentation:

These will be sent to the party leader by us approximately 14 days before departure. If you wish for us to send these to a different address or persons, please specify this in writing when you complete your organisers chart and return it to us. Tickets are sometimes issued at the airport (ticket on departure) and this is perfectly normal. Some airlines are ticketless and in this case only a confirmation number will be provided. If you are unsure, please ask us.

Insurance:

We do not sell and can not advise clients on travel insurance.

Financial Security:

Chalet World Ski is a fully bonded member of ABTA, our ABTA number is K1962. We have complied with their stringent financial requirements and lodged a bond to protect your financial arrangements.
